Tomorrow, President Bush will undergo a routine colonoscopy. The medical procedure will require him to be under anesthesia. So, the President will utilize the 25th ammendment to the Constitution and Dick Cheney will assume the power. Cheney will remain in power till Bush is no longer the influence of the anesthesia. Today, it was reported that a "tearful" Dennis Nifong will resign as DA. It's about time. Last Night, the 2nd debate for the Democrats took place, this time on CNN. It was the 4th debate overall, with the Republicans going at it twice already on MSNBC and Fox. Another departure from the Bush White House today was announced. The President's Counselor, Dan Bartlett announced he would be stepping down. Bartlett assumed that position in January of 2005. He has been working for the Bush team since 1994 when he was involved in Bush's Texas Governor race.
