Mr Bush is doing well and expected to recover in two days.President Cheney could find no oil in Zimbabwe apart from a shortage of South African cooking oil. President Cheney went hunting in Zimbabwe and shot Comrade Mugabe in the buttock---then went to Darfur to visit the new Haliburton refinery. There is absolutely no credence to the rumour that the tent people of Darfur are digging furiously into the Sudanese desert looking for Mr Cheney's lost oil. President "shorty" Ajina something of Iran, surrendered to "Oily Dick" and admitted that Haliburtonia was the World leader in blackmail, sneaky deals and oily hands.

Mr Bush woke up and found the World had changed.

btw, i'm convinced cheney's gonna run for president in 08. here's why:

a. as in 2000, he's gonna determine himself to be the best candidate.
b. how else can be ensure his policies remain in effect?
c. he said he wouldn't

Welcome to mankind...the tree of man. Stop kidding yourselves that somehow the "right" guy will come along and by thinking so it gives you justice to lambaste whosoever you find is not worthy. It's childish.

Do I like the way Bush and Cheney have run things? Not really, but I will say that they have acted in exact accordance with their genetics...those genetics being from the Tree of Man and are exactly like the genetics of every other man I've ever seen in the office. As well as the very genetics of yourself - yeah...you're from the tree of man, too, and are no "different in any way at all from the behavior of the government you despise so much."

Especially when you could be looking for him yourself.

I read your little story and I can't say I was that impressed. History is full of rulers who reshaped a nation in their image and changed the way it thought and acted, if just for a little while. Considering how much larger the US is than most historical states - 400 million people is a lot, remember - there's really no reason the ultimate person for office cannot be found. If statistically one in half a billion people is the rough equivalent of a Elisabeth I or a Chandragupta or a Tokugawe or a Washington or a Gaius Julius Caesar then it's highly likely there is one of those people in the US at this very moment.

The US deserves to be lambasted for failing to search for that one in half a billion excellence. You can talk 'tree of humanity' all you like, but human knowledge and control over society has expanded dramatically over the last fifty years. We know what people think, we know what words will change what they think, and we have a reasonably good idea of how to change minds over extended periods of time.

With the minds of the greater public so easily influenced the blame for society's ills can now be fairly laid at the feet of individuals, who have manifestly failed in their duty to make the competent our leaders.

In any case the age-old right of blaming those who found the stone in their meal is the fairest recompense for the injustice of the distribution of power. Take it away and those children will acknowledge no authority and all will suffer. Is that what you want?
